Hello! I’m Marcus

I began my journey into graphic design back in 2008 and unexpectedly ventured into the world of screen printing in 2011 when I accepted a part-time job at a local sporting goods store located in the small town of St. Clairsville, Ohio.

At that time, my understanding of screen printing was quite limited; I knew it had something to do with clothing, but that was about it. Initially, my responsibilities were quite basic, involving tasks like catching shirts as they came off the line, cleaning the screens, and checking in incoming apparel for inventory/orders. However, a few months into the job, I was promoted to the role of lead designer and printer, which opened up a whole new world for me. I immersed myself in learning, utilizing resources like YouTube and seeking knowledge from industry experts, and through my many mistakes, I was able to grow significantly.

As I continued to expand my knowledge and skills, my passion for the art of screen printing only intensified, and I began to entertain dreams of someday owning my own shop. After several years of experience, a pivotal move to Tennessee, and working under various bosses, I proudly opened my very own studio: Hannaman Creative Studio.
